We have so many online meetings these days. I find that it is a good idea to prep my closet with some staples I can pull out at the last minute if needed. Here are some ideas for great looks for online meeting success, whether it be TEAMS, Zoom, or whatever platform you are using.
Make sure you feel comfortable in whatever you are wearing and that you feel like yourself. Keep your clothes clean and generally have the wrinkles out. Looking great makes you feel professional and comfortable in front of the camera.
What to wear for more formal zoom meetings
Perfect choice for: a meeting with the boss or an executive, a presentation you are giving, a meeting you are leading, if you work in a more formal profession.
What colors should you wear? There are different theories on what works in terms of color. One theory I had received in a conference is that to appear more powerful, try more contrast. So wear a dark jacket with a lighter blouse inside. To be more relational, try less contrast, so for example, a similar colored jacket and blouse, such as a light blue shell with a slightly darker blue jacket.

While you may think bottoms aren’t important, you want to wear something in case you have to get up suddenly. However, you just want them to be presentable and comfortable and match somewhat,
