One of the joys of working from home is all the comfort it brings. Having worn slacks to the office for years, it was wonderful to transition to working from home where I could focus on comfort on the bottom and not having to iron pants and match heels. I love being able to wear pants or joggers when working from home. Here is a list of my favorite comfy pants for working from home.
If you are going to be on a work call, such as a zoom call, or webinar, wear a professional top. However, on the bottom, you can wear comfy pants. However, be sure to wear pants, leggings, or joggers in case you have to get up, unexpectedly. Be sure, to match them with your top in this case. Don’t accidentally get up in your bedtime cartoon boxers, jammies, or bright orange sweats 🙂

Barefoot dreams couldn’t have picked their company name better for lounge pants. If you like a high quality, luxe item, these are a great option for pairing with a professional work top for your calls.
Comfortable, warm joggers to go from your home office to an errand
Great for comfort in your office. Use them for work calls and then run out to an errand or even head to the gym. For a jogger, they have structure and are a bit polished in case you have to get up in the middle of your call. The fleece inside really keeps me warm. A great solution for a cold day in the office for staying cozy.
Lightweight leggings for an airy cozy feel in your home office
These are purely for when you want leggings that feel airy and light. They are also more form-fitting and hug your legs. So light, I even wear them in the summer and they are great if you need to take them on a trip. They don’t take up much space and can use them as an casual extra set of pants for going down to breakfast. Not as warm as joggers.
Can I wear lounge pants to my office?
If you do have to go into a physical office, I would NOT wear joggers, leggings, lounge, or sweatpants but instead wear a nice pair of pants. However, if you are working at home, and no one will see you then it is completely okay to be comfy on the bottom. Remember to pair it with a good blouse or shirt, if you will be on a work telecon.
